You can make a vision board out of card stock paper or you can make one on your computer and print it out. Personally I also have a little notebook where I glue images in of things that I want in my life.</p>
<p>A personal vision board is a very effective way to apply the Law of Attraction. By focusing on your goals and desires on a continuous basis you are feeding your subconscious mind with the goals you want to achieve. It is like you are building your own catalogue with orders you are placing at the Universe. When you look at your vision board imagine that you have already achieved or received it. Pay attention to how it makes you feel and really dwell on it.</p>
<p>When you create a vision board take the time to think about what you really want to manifest into your life. What is important to you? What would you like to achieve in your life? What makes you really happy? This can be related to all aspects of life; relationships, health, spirituality, family, wealth, etc. Make a list of all your goals and dreams.</p>
<p>After you have made a list with your goals and dreams, think about how you can translate these goals and dreams into images. Do you have pictures of your own or have you seen images you would like to use.</p>
<p>Examples of images for your vision board are:</p>
<ul>
<li>If you want to live in a certain house - Images of your dream house</li>
<li>If you would like to change your weight - Images of  a body you like to have with your face glued on it</li>
<li>If you would like to spend more time with your family - Images of you with your family in a happy moment</li>
<li>If you would like to be wealthy – Images of your bank account statement and the amount of money you would like to have in your account</li>
</ul>
<p>When you just start with your vision board, try to only focus on your main goals. This way you will not loose sight of what is the most important to you.<br />
Place your vision board in a prominent place in your house; somewhere where you will see it on a very regular basis. The more exposure you have to your vision board, the better it is. You might even make multiple boards at different places in your house, work, etc.</p>
<p>Once you have achieved a goal you can update your vision board.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We all need goals in our life, something to dream of or look forward to.  Can you imagine having a life without any goals or to have a life in which you have everything you could ever want? I think that as we reach our goals there will always be something new or different we would like to achieve or have.</p>
<p>But what kind of goals are you setting? Do you have &#8216;toward&#8217; goals or &#8216;away from&#8217; goals? Do you set goals towards the things you want or do you set goals away from the things you do not want?</p>
<p>Examples of &#8216;towards&#8217; goals are:</p>
<ul>
<li>I want to have a toned body and weigh 57 kilo.</li>
<li>I want to have a promotion in my job.</li>
<li>I want to live a more joyful life.</li>
<li>I want to live in abundance in every aspect of my life.</li>
</ul>
<p>Examples of &#8216;away from&#8217; goals are:</p>
<ul>
<li>I don&#8217;t want to be <a href="http://mysticeye.info/2006/09/06/overweight-go-on-a-mental-diet/">overweight</a> anymore.</li>
<li>I don&#8217;t want to go to a job that I don&#8217;t like.</li>
<li>I don&#8217;t want to feel miserable anymore.</li>
<li>I don&#8217;t want to be in debt.</li>
</ul>
<p>Although &#8216;away from&#8217; goals can be very motivational, they are not the best goals in life to have. According to the <a href="http://mysticeye.info/category/law-of-attraction/">Law of Attraction</a> we attract in life what we are focusing on. Like attracts like.</p>
<p>So if you focus on how you don&#8217;t want to be overweight anymore, you are focusing on being overweight. If you don&#8217;t want to be in debt, you are focusing on the lack of money and incoming bills. If you keep thinking about that boring or horrible job you have you attract more of the situations you don&#8217;t want. So by focusing on the things you do not want, according to the law of attraction, you are attracting more of the same.</p>
<p>Instead of focusing on what you don&#8217;t want, you should set &#8216;towards&#8217; goals.  Start to make a <a href="http://mysticeye.info/2007/10/13/what-do-you-want-in-your-life/">list with goals</a> of the things you want in life. Only focus on what you want and the Law of Attraction will attract what you focus on.</p>

Over 14.000 bloggers have committed themselves to write a post about this issue and raise awareness and I am one of them.You can&#8217;t turn the news on these days or read a newspaper and not hear about global warming, polution, etc. It is one of the reasons why I don&#8217;t watch the news; it is depressing. That doesn&#8217;t mean that I am turning a blind eye to the issue; I am very conscious about the things we can do to help the environment.</p>
<p>Here are some tips for you that can help you save the environment.</p>
<ul>
<li>Change your light bulbs to energy saving ones.</li>
<li>Turn off the light whenever you leave a room.</li>
<li>Turn off your electronics instead of leaving them on standby.</li>
<li>Unplug unused electronics.</li>
<li>Turn the temperature of your heater down by one or two degrees.</li>
<li>Use less water, do not let water run unnecessarily.</li>
<li>Recycle paper, cans, bottles, glass, plastic, etc.</li>
<li>Recycle your old stuff; sell it or donate it.</li>
<li>Use email instead of regular mail.</li>
<li>Print on both sides of a paper.</li>
<li>Walk or use a bicycle instead of a car.</li>
<li>Car pool to work or catch the public transport.</li>
<li>Use home remedies instead of chemical treatments.</li>
<li>Say no to plastic bags or re-use them as garbage bags.</li>
<li>Bring your own reusable bags when you go shopping.</li>
<li>Avoid over-packaged products; buy in concentrated form and buy refills.</li>
</ul>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A little technique to help you on the way of manifesting the things you want in your life is making a list of all the things you desire, you want to have or be. Making that list will help you focus on the things you want to come into your life. The law of attraction states that ‘<em>What we think about is what we bring about</em>‘. The more you focus on what you want the easier it will be to manifest those things into your life.</p>
<p><strong>Write down what you want to have or be</strong></p>
<p>Take the time to think about all the things you would like to have in your life or what or how you want to be. Write everything down. It can be long or short term, something that is  important or not so important, something that is big or small, it doesn&#8217;t matter. Write <em>everything</em> you would like to have or be down on a list.</p>
<p>Write the list in present tense and only write down what you want, so ignore what  you do not want. Do not limit yourself in your ideas and do not censor your list because it might seem impossible to you. Just write everything down.</p>
<p><strong>Write down the reasons why<br />
</strong></p>
<p>After you have written down what you want to come into your life or what you want to be, write down all the reasons why you want it in your life. Writing down the reasons why you want something makes it crystal clear and enhances what you want. The more attention you give to something the more vibrations you are sending out to the universe.</p>
<p><strong>Go through your list on a daily basis </strong></p>
<p>During a quiet moment during the day have a look at your list and think about all the things you want. <a href="http://mysticeye.info/2007/06/03/what-is-visualization/" title="What is visualization?">Visualize</a> how your life will be when have manifested all the things you want into your life. Notice how you feel. Does it make you feel good? Hold on to that feeling.</p>
<p>Going through your list on a daily basis is great, but if you can, try to go through it twice or even three times a day. Like attracts like. If you think about it more and more, the universe will give you more of the same. It will not be long before you start to notice changes in your life.</p>
<p><strong>Believe and expect to get it</strong></p>
<p>Your desire for something can be very strong, but when you do not believe that it will become reality you are not ready to receive it. If you want desperately to become a millionaire but at the same time you do not want to spend any money because you think that you can not afford it, you will not become a millionaire. Instead of manifesting money into your life you are blocking it and you are probably manifesting more &#8220;I can not afford it&#8221; situations.</p>
<p>So once you have made your list and go through it on a daily basis have faith that whatever you desire is already yours. Believe that it will come into your life. Expect it to come into your life.</p>
<p><strong>Update your list </strong></p>
<p>As your life will start to change and you will manifest things into your life your list will change as well. You can cross certain things off your list and maybe new desires will come up. Keep working on your list on a regular basis and you will see the results.</p>

<p>When you apply that law to your financial situation you will start to understand how you can change your situation. When you are worrying about every bill that comes in, if you are telling yourself all the time that you can not afford to buy something, if you think about the lack of money than that will be exactly what you attract in your life. You will attract more bills, you will attract more money worries, etc. It is like a downward spiral and the more you focus on your rotten financial situation the worse it will get.</p>
<p>People who are wealthy have a different mindset than poor people. Rich people focus on money and wealth.  They are more focused on what they want in life, where as poor people are more focused on what they<em> don&#8217;t</em> want in life. When you think rich you will grow rich.</p>
<p>The law of attraction does not make a difference between what you do or do not want in your life. The universe responds to what you are thinking about and what vibration you send out. Instead of focusing on the lack of money start focusing on what you do want. If you want enough money to feel free to do whatever you want and not worrying about paying bills than focus your attention on that. State to the universe that you want to be wealthy. Make it clear for yourself what you really want and believe that you will get it.</p>
<p><strong>Ask</strong> the universe for what you want. <strong>Believe</strong> and expect that you will receive what you have asked for and you will <strong>receive</strong>.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In my previous post <a href="http://mysticeye.info/2007/06/03/what-is-visualization/" title="What is visualization?">What is visualization?</a> I explained what visualization is and that it can help you with achieving your goals.</p>
<p>In this post I will give you 6 steps in visualization that will help you be successful.</p>
<ul>
<li>The first step in visualization is to pick a goal you would like to achieve. If you don&#8217;t have a goal, you will go nowhere. Be specific; a certain amount of money, a better relationship with your parents, getting the job or promotion you want, winning the championship, getting your dream house, etc.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>After you have decided what goal you want to reach, close your eyes. Imagine that you have reached your goal, see yourself as it is completed. See yourself being successful in reaching your goal.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Try to make the picture or movie in your mind as detailed as possible. For example: what does the desk or office of your dream job look like? Hear the crowd cheer after you won! Smell the new paint in your house, etc.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Feel what it feels like to achieve your goal. Do you feel proud that you have climbed the mountain and reached the top? Do you feel happy, relaxed, etc.? Try to imagine how you feel after you have achieved your goal. Get the sense of peacefulness that you have achieved your goal.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Do step 1 to 4 every day for about 10 minutes when you wake up and before you go to bed. If you have some time to spare for example when you are waiting for public transport to arrive or if you feel stressed, close your eyes and try to visualize what you want to achieve. Make it a habbit and you will notice that you will reach your goals.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Make a vision board or vision book. Cut out pictures or text of everything that is related to or symbolizes what you would like to achieve and paste it on a vision board or book. Look at the vision board or book as often as you can.</li>

<p>Visualization is creating a clear image or movie in your mind. Literally it means to see in your mind. Your mind makes a mental image or movie of something and plays it over and over again.</p>
<p>A lot of times we only believe what we see. This is the same for your brain. When you visualize something that has not happened yet, you are re-programming your brain. When you create an image or movie in your brain and visualize it over and over again, your brain will start to believe that the event has really happened. The more often you visualize it, the more real it will seem. Your brain can not make a difference between visualization and a real life event. So if you visualize the same thing over and over again it will seem real to your brain.</p>
<p>According to the law of attraction you will attract into your life what you focus on. With visualization and the use of affirmations you can attract anything you want. If you create a mental image or movie of success, you will be successful. But if you visualize how you are going to fail and how miserable that would make you feel, you will never be successful.</p>
<p>A lot of people are using visualization without being aware of it. The problem is that a lot of times the visualization is focused on what could go wrong. Without realizing it these people are attracting negativity in their lives. So in order to use visualize for success you have to create an image or movie that shows that you have already achieved your goals, that it makes you feel good, etc. Always stay focused on the positive side of things and you attract success.</p>
<p>A lot of top athletes visualize that they have achieved their goal; they can see themselves being victorious, they can feel, taste and even smell victory. Those athletes are usually the ones that are very successful. And a lot of successful people will tell you that, despite the fact that people did not believe in them or they had lots of obstacles in their way, they could always see themselves succeed.</p>
<p>You can use visualization for multiple purposes. You can use visualization to attract success, to achieve your goals, to lose a few extra pounds, to relax your body, to heal emotionally, to improve your health, to improve performance, to gain prosperity and much more.<o></o></p>

A depression does not only involve your mood, but also your body and thoughts. Some people see it as a sign of weakness, but this is not the case. It is nothing to be ashamed of.</p>
<p>Depression can be  caused by many things. For example:</p>

<li>Changes in the brain structure or brain function.</li>
<li>Physical changes like hormonal changes, stroke, cancer, etc.</li>
<li>Severe stressful situations like serious loss, financial problems, difficult relationships, etc.</li>
</ul>
<p>Depression is not something you can simply snap out of. It is not always easy to get better like you do when you catch a cold. Treatment for depression usually involves anti depressant medication and psychotherapy.</p>
<p>It is not always easy to recognize a depression, but there are signs that can help us with recognizing the problem.</p>

<li>Persistent feeling of being sad, anxious or &#8216;being empty&#8217;. You don&#8217;t feel up to anything. You rather stay in the house all day and do nothing.</li>

<ul>
<li>You have a feeling of hopelessness and are pessimistic about everything. You feel like there is nothing to look forward to and you feel negative about everything that&#8217;s happening in your life.</li>
</ul>

<li>Lost of interest in hobbies or activities you used to enjoy. Instead of doing things that might cheer you up, you avoid them. You are getting more and more reclusive from your friends and family.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>You feel worthless. You have the feeling that you are worthless, no one likes you, you can&#8217;t do anything good.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Feelings of guilt. You have an overwhelming feeling of guilt. Maybe you feel that you don&#8217;t deserve to be happy.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Feeling tired or fatigued. You always feel tired, physically and mentally. Sitting in the house not doing anything, not eating well, not sleeping well, it all leads up to feeling tired and fatigued.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Changed sleep patterns. This can be insomnia, waking up in the early mornings or maybe you just can&#8217;t stop sleeping.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Having trouble concentrating. You find it hard to stay focused on something. You find it hard to make decisions or maybe your memory is playing up and you find it hard to remember things.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Changed eating patterns. You have started to over eat or maybe you are not eating enough. Watch for weight gain or loss.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Thoughts of death and suicide. You are thinking a lot about death, dying or suicide.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>You are easily irritated. You get irritated easily and snap at something or someone for no apparent reason.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Persistent physical problems. This can be headaches, digestive disorders, chronic pain, etc.</li>
</ul>

<p>Do not depend on other people or anything else for your success. You are the one that can make things happen. You can make sure that you get the results that you want.</p>

Learn from your mistakes and try something else.</p>

<p>Know your full potential and the value of your talents. Most of the times you are capable of much more than you think. Not only that, you are probably worth more than you think. You are a special person with great capacity and ability. So don’t sell yourself cheap!</p>
<p><strong>Be goal orientated</strong></p>
